Spring has sprung! Springtime provides ample opportunities to practice gratitude, mindfulness and grounding!

When we feel grateful, our brain releases dopamine, the happy and rewarding neurotransmitter. We can experience gratitude that ~

1. The trees are budding and displaying fresh green leaves!

2. Flowers are blooming in a beautiful array!

3. Birds are happily chirping their good morning songs!

4. Bees are buzzing and butterflies will soon be fluttering about while showing off colorful wingspans!

5. Rain clouds bursting to water all and gentle winds blowing the breath of life!

Springtime is a brilliant time to be mindful of rebirth as our spirit awakens from its winter slumber. We have before us an exquisite time to exercise gratitude and mindfulness of the gifts of life, while also reducing anxiety by activating our 5 senses with nature.

1.Beauty unfolds as we utilize our sense of sight and take a moment to capture the view of a spectrum of colors from horizon line to horizon line.

2. We can activate our sense of smell as we breathe in the sweet aroma of fresh air and flowers!

3. Our sense of touch can sooth us as we absorb the warmth of the sun on our skin!

4. Sounds echo comfort as we listen to the rhythm of songs sung in treetops.

5. Taste the goodness of delicious delights and savor each bite for a delightful mindful meal or snack.

Let us open our senses to the wonders of nature to nurture our life and comfort our soul!
